Scope of application

The terms and conditions and our prices set out the mutual rights and obligations between the operator of Camping Waldenstein and you as the camping guest. Only agreements given for the booked period are considered as contractual services. Any agreements made by phone or otherwise made, need to be done in a written form and need a confirmation by the operator to get valid. By submitting a booking request you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

Booking / Reservation

By submitting a booking or reservation the camping guest offers to commit himself to the contract for renting a pitch. This can be done by an online booking on our website www.camping-waldenstein.at, by e-mail (infocamping-waldensteinat), by phone (+43 664 4355532) or orally. When making a booking you agree that you have the authority of all persons in your party to book on their behalf, you accept these Terms & Conditions and you agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused by any member of your party. We consider your booking as obligatory only, if we have received your down payment by online payment or wire transfer to our bank account (IBAN: AT75 2027 2000 0096 2092,  BIC: SPZWAT21XXX Bank: Waldviertler Sparkasse Bank AG) latest 3 days prior arrival. Otherwise your booking is cancelled.

Arrival and departure

From Tuesday to Saturday you can arrive daily between 13:00 and 21:00. On Sunday you can arrive until 18:00. Please check-in in the Sportrestaurant Stefan Hinger, directly at the camping site. There you will get the visitors' book to fill in, some information about the camping site and your holidays and the invoice, if not already sent by e-mail. Please pay the open amount already on the day of arrival. Please also bring your passport or ID card with you. Any arrival on Monday or later arrival than 21:00 or 18:00 on Sundays is possible only upon prior agreement by phone. Then you will receive further information. The daily check-out time is by 12:00. If you have not left the campsite by 12:00, we will charge an additional night.

Period of reservation and stay

The period, which has been booked by the camping guest, is mandatory as soon as the camping guest starts its stay on the campsite. Only by mutual agreement the period of stay respectively the obligation to pay for the booked period can be reduced. If you leave site early for any reason Camping Waldenstein will not issue any refund for unused camping nights.  A prolongation of the stay is only possible by mutual agreement.

Pitch

You will get a pitch of your reserved category. As far as possible we try to keep the allocation. Due to organisational reasons we keept the right to shift allocations after receiving the down payment or booking confirmation within the same category. Pitches on the upper level have electricity and water supply plus and grey water disposal. Pitches on the lower level have water and power supply.

Prices

The currently valid prices are indicated on our website www.camping-waldenstein.at. In any case the operator has the right to change the tariffs of the current price list, if the period between booking and booked period is above 4 months.  In this case the camping guest has the right to withdraw the booking according these terms and conditions. Price lists are subject to errors and changes.

Payment

The total price for the booked period is payable prior arrival. Only on special request the operator can grant a later payment. The camping guest has no right to demand a later payment.

Cancellation

You can cancel your reservation 10 days prior arrival for free. The operator will return the down payment to the bank account, which you will tell us or card refund. Any cancellation in the period of 9 to 3 days prior arrival, we charge you 50% of the total price. Any later cancellation or no show will cost you 100% of the total amount and need to be paid within 3 working days. We recommend you to have a travel cancellation policy.

Rules of the campsite

The currently valid rules of the campsite are an integrate part of the terms and conditions. You can find the rules on the campsite or on our website www.camping-waldenstein.at. If you breach the rules, the operator can banish you from the campsite. In such a case the camping guest forfeits all paid amount. The operator has also the right to claim you for compensation. 

Complaints

Should you have cause for complaint, please contact the operator immediately. The operator will try to resolve your complaint and advise you of our complaints procedure. We ask you to note that if you do not give us the opportunity to resolve the problem by reporting it onsite, we may not be able to deal with any complaint on your return and your rights to claim may have been reduced or forfeited.

Liability

The operator is not liable for damages, which are caused by a failure of water or power supply as well as noise made from third parties. The operator is also not liable for damages, which are caused by negligence of equipment, machines or buildings out of order. This exclusion is also applicable for negligence done by legal representatives or auxiliary persons of the operator.

Applicable right

The Austrian law is applicable. Place of jurisdiction is Gmünd

Dear camping guests,

we are happy to welcome you on the campsite in Waldenstein. In order to grant you a relaxing and perfect holiday, we kindly ask you to follow our campsite rules.

Arrival and departure

The access to our campsite is only allowed prior registration at the Sportrestaurant Stefan Hinger (directly at the campsite). You can arrive from Tuesday to Sunday from 15:00 to 21:00 (Sunday until 18:00). Any arrival on Monday or an arrival on Sundays after 18:00 is only possible prior agreement by phone (+43 664 4355532). Please bring your ID cards or passports with you. Youths younger than 16 years travelling alone need to present a written consent of their parents at the registration. For any liquid gas equipment in your vehicle you need a gas certificate. At the registration you will get the registration form to fill out and sign it, some information for your stay and the invoice, if not already sent by e-mail. Please also show your ID card or passport at the check-in. The departure must be done daily by 12:00. If you stay longer, we will charge you an additional night. Please leave the pitch in a clean condition.

Pitch

You will get a pitch of your reserved category. As far as possible we try to keep the allocation. Vehicles and speed limits

The speed limit on-site is 10 km/h.  Please park your vehicle in way not to disturb the traffic and neighbours. Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch. If you would like to park any further vehicle, please get in contact with us.

Noise

Please keep noise at a level which will not disturb other site users, especially between 12:00 and 13:00 and 22:00 to 06:00. The calm periods will contribute to your relaxing. Especially radios, TVs, ... should be adjusted to a level so that your neighbour does not notice it.

Rubbish

We make every effort to keep the site facilities clean and tidy and ask for your assistance in maintaining this standard by using the refuse and recycling bins and chemical disposal points provided, and by leaving all facilities clean after use.

Children

Adults need to take care of their children at any time. Parents are liable for any damage caused by their children.

Pets are not allowed

We do not allow pets on our campsite. The campsite is very close  to forests and meadows, which are the habitats of several wild animals. In order to grant the safety of the wild animals and the recreation of our camping guests, we have decided not to allow dogs, cats, ... on our campsite.

Barbecues

To have a barbecue is only possible with adequated equipment. The blaze and fire must be steadily observed. Any campfire is only allowed at the BBQ area (within the concrete ring). In case of an elevated risk of forest fires, a ban of open fires can be released by the operator.

Use of the graduation house and swimming pond

The use of the graduation house and swimming poind is at your own risk.

Security / Risks

It is not allowed to dig any trenches, lay stones as a borderline or put a fence around a pitch. Please take care that nobody will get harmed by your tent pegs, ropes or other camping equipment. Please mark any hindrances by visible signes. The use of all ways is at your own risk.

Cleanliness

Please leave all camping facilities clean after use. The next camping guest will be thankful. Children below 6 years are not allowed to use the facilities without any adult.

Smoking

All indoor facilities (showers, toilets, chemical disposal point, washing and dryer room) are non-smoking areas. Please put your cigarette butts into the residual waste bin.

Green space

Please take care of the green space. TIt is an integral part of this beautiful area. The green space is for your recreation and pleasure. From time to time it is necessary to cut the grass or do other work there. We thank you for your understanding while doing these works.

Damages

For all damages on campsite facilities are liable to the person responsible. For theft or damages of the guests' properties by third parties as well as any injuries or damages to any person we are not liable. We recommend you to contract your private insurance for any claims during your camping holidays.
